You are not required to provide any personal data to browse or use this website and mobile application. When you participate in More Furniture Limited's activities or register to use our services or online content, we will collect your personal data to enable us to provide services to you. You may refuse to provide personal data to us, but in this case, we may not be able to provide services to you. By providing your personal data, you agree to our use of your personal data in accordance with this Privacy Policy Statement.

Categories of Personal Data Collected

Personal data collected by More Furniture Limited may include (including but not limited to):

  • Your personal and contact information, such as name, gender, date of birth, HKID card number, telephone number, social media links, email address, residential address, mailing address, and/or billing address;

  • Your business information, such as company name and job title;

  • Your account information, such as the first 6 and last 4 digits of your credit card account number or user account;

  • Details of your payment transactions with More Furniture Limited merchants;

  • Your household income and personal interests;

  • Your computer or mobile device's IP address, real-time location data, browser settings, browsing history, and/or other internet log data;

  • Telephone numbers and email addresses contained in your phone book (when you use the interactive features of the services we provide to you). We will notify you when you accept our services. When you provide data to us, you confirm that you have obtained consent from the contacts in your phone book; and

  • Your voice and any personal data you share with us during phone calls.

We may access, use, and/or process your biometric data, including but not limited to fingerprints and facial images stored on your mobile device or other devices, for identity verification purposes. However, except for "your voice" as described in item 8 above, we do not collect or store such data.

Confidentiality, Disclosure, and Security of Personal Data

All personal data collected and held by More Furniture Limited about you will be kept confidential; however, if required by law or to fulfill legal obligations, or to provide services to you, or to carry out the original purpose or directly related purposes of collecting personal data, or to allow the Company's affiliated companies to create an account for you to use their services, the Company may disclose such data to the following persons (whether in or outside Hong Kong):

  • Courts of competent jurisdiction, law enforcement agencies, or other governmental statutory or regulatory departments, agencies or organizations

  • The Company's affiliated companies, partners, sellers or contractors, agents or other service providers involved in sales and marketing or administration of services, or providing goods/services

  • The Company's affiliated companies, which may create an account for you to use their services

  • The Company's partners, including but not limited to insurance companies, who may assess and process new insurance product applications, renewal applications, insurance claims and settlements, provide insurance services, and/or handle inquiries or complaints

  • Any other persons under a duty of confidentiality to the Company, including members of the company group who have undertaken to keep such data confidential, IT consultants, data processing contractors, auditors, accountants, or lawyers

  • Banks, financial institutions, insurance companies, credit card issuing companies, or debt collection service companies

Any questions, comments, suggestions, or information other than personal data that you transmit or post on our website or any part of the website are deemed to be voluntarily provided to the Company in a non-confidential and non-proprietary form. We have the right to use, reproduce, disclose, transmit, publish, and/or post such data elsewhere, including but not limited to providing such data to any affiliated company for the purpose of service development and promotion and to meet customer needs.

We may publicly share non-personal data, such as anonymous and aggregated data related to sales transactions, user traffic, logistics, and warehouse performance, and may share it with our partners, including but not limited to existing and potential business partners, sellers or contractors providing goods/services, entrepreneurs, and academia.

More Furniture Limited will make every reasonable effort to ensure that all personal data held by More Furniture Limited is stored in a reliable, secure, and safe place.

We will do our best to keep all collected personal data confidential. However, please understand that we cannot guarantee the security of data transmission.

If you purchase insurance products or other products or services from our partners, your personal data will be transmitted to the partners and your personal data will be used, processed, and retained in accordance with the partners' privacy policies. This is beyond our control. If you visit the application of our affiliated company (such as Everuts), your personal data will be transferred to that affiliated company to create an account and will be processed and stored in accordance with that affiliated company's privacy policy. Please refer to the privacy policies of our partners and affiliated companies for details.

We may terminate your More Furniture Limited account. Please note that once the account is terminated, all data will be deleted and invalidated. All orders in the account cannot be arranged for return or refund, and shopping coupons or electronic coupons in the account will no longer be reactivated and cannot be refunded.

If you understand and agree to the above terms, please provide the relevant information to us for follow-up, and we will terminate your More Furniture Limited account within 5-7 working days.

Transfer of Personal Data Outside Hong Kong

If required for operational purposes, the Company will transfer personal data outside the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to achieve the purpose of collecting such data, or for purposes directly related thereto. Any such data transfer will comply with the provisions and restrictions of the Ordinance.

Retention of Personal Data

If you choose or are provided with a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential. You must not disclose it to any third party. If your mobile number is used for account login, you should ensure that you update it promptly by logging into your account in "Account Details" when your mobile number is changed or returned to the mobile telecommunications operator. This is very important to ensure that your account information is not accessed by third parties who may have acquired the right to use your returned mobile number. You are responsible for protecting your account in this specific way. We assume no responsibility for this.

Unless required by law to retain your personal data for a specific period of time, More Furniture Limited will only retain personal data until the original purpose of collecting the personal data or a purpose directly related thereto has been fulfilled.

Direct Marketing

More Furniture Limited may use the personal data collected from you to send messages, offers, promotions, and marketing quotes, and for this purpose, the Company needs to obtain your consent. We may contact you via email, mobile application notifications, social media links, SMS, text/image/video messages, phone, or mail. The Company holds your name, email address, phone number, contact address, social media links, product and service portfolio data, transaction patterns and behavior, browsing history, program viewing habits, personal interests. The Company may use this information for direct marketing of our services, as well as the products and services of our business partners or advertising partners, or the product or service categories of More Furniture Limited merchants, including but not limited to food and beverages, groceries, household items, personal care and health, skincare and cosmetics, maternal and child products, pet supplies, electronics, home furnishings, food and entertainment, sports and travel, toys and books, telecommunications, media and entertainment, fashion and apparel, jewelry, luxury goods, insurance and financial product categories, motor vehicles, real estate, government information and services, and soliciting donations or contributions for charitable, cultural, public welfare or sports purposes, and other products, services or projects you may be interested in.

If you do not wish to receive any direct marketing communications from us and our partners, you can update your preferences at any time through your registered account or the unsubscribe link we provide. Upon receiving your notification, we will cease to use your personal data for direct marketing purposes and will not charge you for this.
